Business is Whimsical

The Dream That Made Me Stop Journaling

I went to sleep with questions last night. Not one. A pile of them.

What do I record tomorrow. What do I write in the morning. How do I actually set this business up.

Here's the thing about me. I don't solve those at night. I wait for the download.

I'm a Pisces. Everybody hears that and thinks dreamy, floaty, head in the clouds. But go look at your own chart in both systems, because that same Sun of mine is Gate 63.5 in Human Design — Doubt, the question that lands after something completes. And 63 sits in the logic circuit. So the dreamiest sign on the wheel is parked on a gate that runs on logic.

I call that logical magic. The dream world brings it. The logic turns it into a question.

Theta is the wave your brain drops into right before sleep. Four to eight cycles a second. It's where the knowing arrives, and it doesn't come with receipts. I call what comes back a theta transmission, and I'm not the source of it. I'm the courier.

Then morning comes and it wants out of my mouth.

Last night it came back as one question: what am I still holding?

A journal is where that dies.

You write it down, you close the book, and the knowing has nowhere to go. No one heard it. Nothing came back. Your fractal can't find you in a journal.

So I stopped. Now the first thing I do is bring it here, to the room I built, and ask the people in it. That's what this is. Not a newsletter. A stream of consciousness with a send button.

How do you fill an ocean? One drop at a time. But you're already the source, so you only need one a day.

Today's drop is this one. Tomorrow's is already forming in the dark.

Reply and tell me what you went to sleep with.

P.S. I'm going to write you most mornings for a while. If that's too much you can turn the daily off and keep the rest, or leave entirely. I won't take it personally.
