The sky from where you were standing
Back in the nineties, artist development meant somebody sat down with raw material and found the it factor. Nobody taught star quality. You were born with it. They located it, and the locating was the whole job.
That job doesn't exist anymore. So it's yours now. You're the artist and you're the A&R.
Start where they started. The sun.
Not the one in the sky. The chart isn't a picture of the sky, it's a picture of the sky from where you were standing. Put yourself back in the middle of it. You are the sun. Everything else is in orbit around you.
That's why the writing matters. Speech is older, but writing is what makes it stay. It's the only technology that runs on you — no equipment, no permission, and you can build an entire world in your head before you own a single thing in it.
I found mine at gate 63.5. Doubt. I spent years aiming it at myself. Then I understood it was built to point outward, and the day it turned around it became what I do for a living.
Yours is in there.
Go look at your wheel and see what year you're standing in. Then come back tomorrow. I'll show you what to do with it.

You came here with a storyline. The Cipher reflects it back. 🔑
P.S. I'm going to write you most mornings for a while. If that's too much you can turn the daily off and keep the rest, or leave entirely. I won't take it personally.
